The Initiators

Drs M S (Aristos) Bouļus has been working with the infirm since 1985. A volunteer at first, he is one of the intiators of the BMA (an organisation to aid the sick). Later he practiced in his private practice as a psychologist, both in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. While completing his university studies, he worked as a male nurse in several pychiatric clinics and in regular hospitals. With over twenty years of experience as a composer and director of choral music, he has a preference for music from the Renaissance period. He has given courses on choral music for organisations in the Netherlands, France and Japan. He has also given courses in chamber music both in the Netherlands and abroad. From his thirteenth till seventeenth he played the church organ.

Gerrit SchellingA welknown dancing master both abroad and in the Netherlands. He is specialised in folkoristic and modern dance. He taught thousands of children both in primary and secondary education. He also teaches historic dance. He gave courses in historic dance. In the mean time he already is quite famous as chef de cuisine in Montcombroux-les-Mines with the hundreds of visitors we welcomed.
